1.2. Standard of various electric connectors and their application status.

1.2.1 Circular electric connector standard.

Currently, the standard development of circular electrical connector supporting the air host and airborne requirements can be divided into three stages:

  1. In the 50-60s, stereotyped old models used the relevant standards of Russian series products.
  2. China’s self-developed standards for high-density medium-density series of products used in the established models in the 70-80s.
  3. The development of new aircraft since the 1990s mainly used the relevant national standards of the US standard products.

The standard of the above-mentioned electrical connector products shows three levels of low, medium and high technical level, which reflects the evolution process and development trend of China’s electrical connector standards. The circular electrical connector is basically complete in its current product standards, and plays an important role in the field of aviation aircraft. It can basically meet current needs.

1.2.2 Standards for Printed Circuit and Rejection Electrical Connector

Printed circuit electrical connectors are used for internal signal transmission of airborne equipment and are used in large quantities. The rectangular electrical connector is mainly used for the connection between devices and the wire connection between the inner panel and the board of the device.

The highly reliable wire spring structure is the main structure of China’s airline printed circuit electrical connectors and some rectangular electrical connectors since the 1980s. The highly reliable wire spring electrical connector product represents today’s most advanced contact structure.

There are 7 items of national standard for high-reliability wire spring structure printed wiring and rectangular electrical connectors, including 1 general specification for printed circuit electrical connectors, 5 items for detailed specification of printed circuit electrical connectors, and 1 item for rectangular electrical connectors.

There are 5 aviation industry standards for high-reliability wire spring structure printed wiring and rectangular electrical connectors, including 3 items  high-reliability wire spring structure and two standards for open-hole structure.

In the aircraft imported from Russia by China, its airborne equipment uses a large number of printed wire spring structure electrical connectors (1’PTIM, rpm-IM series) and framed rectangular connectors (PIIKM series). Accordingly, our country also introduced A large number of Russian corporate standards have basically satisfied production and demand.

China’s current standards for printed wiring and rectangular electrical connectors in terms of structure, installation, contact arrangement, contact spacing, etc., refer to the leaf spring structure standards (MIL-c-55302, DIN 41612, etc.), which can be more convenient with international standards. Connected. At present, the printed wiring and rectangular connector standards can basically meet the research and production requirements.

1.2.3 Standards for Coaxial Connector

This kind of connector is not the main industry of the aviation system connector manufacturer. The coaxial connector products used in the aviation industry are mostly ordered from the professional electronic system manufacturers, while the aviation connector manufacturers have very limited varieties of products. Orders of airborne equipment factories are mainly targeted at electronics and foreign companies. According to rough statistics, there are seven MIL series standards concerning coaxial connector products. Each standard includes hundreds of detailed specifications and detailed contents. There are more than 200 industry standards and national standards that are equivalent and equivalently used in China and are basically complete. In all types of connector products, the number of coaxial connector standards is the largest, basically meeting the requirements of aviation main and auxiliary. Machine factory needs.

1.2.4 Standards for Special Electrical Connector and Power Connector

There are many kinds of special electric connectors, including shedding, oil resistance, filtering, photoelectric mixing, photoelectric conversion, testing and so on.Such connectors have high reliability requirements, technical difficulties, and quantity requirements are generally small, but they are key products.There are few varieties of power connectors and single application domain, but it is very important for the connection of power transmission.At present, the standard number of special connectors is relatively small, with a total of 12 national standards, including II types, lacking detailed specifications, and the existing products basically carry out the enterprise standard.Standard power connector is only a recommended national standards (GB/I ‘13536), a specifications (GJB970) and a beacon (HB6184), more than 10 power supply the standard is not conversion.
